BORDEAUX RACECOURSE  
The racecourse at Bordeaux is situated on the River Garonne and held its inaugural meeting in 1836. The course has a circumference of 2000 metres and has a run-in of 600 metres.
   The track hosts four Listed races annually, the first two being in late May or early June. The Grand Prix de Bordeaux is for 4 year olds and upwards and run over 1900 metres. The Derby du Midi is run over 2400 metres and is for 3 year olds. In 2014 Machucambo beat Garlingari and Petite Parisienne. In 2013 Lawspeaker beat Brigantin and Marceti.  
In September the Prix Millkom is for 3 year olds and upwards and is contested over 1600 metres, whilst the final Listed race is run in October, the Grand Criterium de Bordeaux is for 2 year olds over 1600 metres.
